It is ridiculous that we even have to worry about such things. I can understand why you kept your daughter home. I would be a nervous wreck in your situation. Plus, with the way the administrators mishandled the Virginia Tech shooting by not closing class and notifying students... it's hard to trust that a school will really do the right thing! eek
