  • Get up at the same time everyday. This is one of the easiest ways to keep your body in a regular schedule.
  • Wake up with a shower. Showers inprove your circulation. IT also seems to lift your mood.
  • Have coffee. There are both benefits to drinking coffee in the morning. One study says it can decrease your rick of type 2 diabetes. Other research indicates it may help protect against Parkinson's disease and gall stones. Watch out for your coffee consumption late in the day, it will still give you insomnia.
  • Eat breakfast. If you skip breakfast it will slow your metabolism and make it harder to lose weight. It will make you feel less alert and you may feel moody and impatient.
  • Remember lunch and dinner too. Skipping meals makes your body think that there is no food and it will conserve your energy by slowing down your metabolism. This will make you feel irritable or make it hard to concentrate.
  • Eat your fish. The latest studies are showing that Omega-3 fatty acids that are found in fish help reduce your irritability and moodiness. It can also help your children by improving concentration and reducing aggressiveness. The best way to get Omega 3's into your diet would be by eating salmon, herring, tuna and makerel. (But don't eat more than 12 ounces a week because of Mercury and PCB levels.)
  • Eat a lot of colors. Don't always grab that apple to eat every day. Mix it up and try mangos, kiwis or pomegranates. This way, the variety of foods will improve your immune function.
  • Workout your mouth. Your digestion begins in your mouth with saliva. Take the time to chew your food so that your digested food can become usuable to your body. Uncorrect absorption causes flatulence and indigestion. So chew properly and thoroughly.
  • Make sure you sit up straight. Slouching causes you to cramp your internal organs. Sitting up straight helps increase your circulation, which will make you feel great.
  • Exercise. Exercise helps you relieve anxiety and stress. It releases endorphins which will make you feel happier.
  • Be kind. Being kind ot generous to others can make you feel happy. Try to do three random acts of kindness a day. These can be as simple as letting someone go in front of you in a line or listening to a co-workers problems.
  • Get outside. Make sure you are out in the sun for 15 minutes a day. This will help you fight off SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorderthat makes you feel tired all the time, it causes you to over sleep and makes you crave things with sugar in them.).
  • Be positive, If you are always down it gets to be stressful. Be happy and surround yourself with happy people.
  • Start to enjoy your life. Every day write down what's good in your life that you may take for granted. Develop new friendships by joining a group with activities that you like.
