Under $10, it’s the perfect gift for anyone who has a mobile phone. It slips into your phone and lets you capture, store and carry hundreds of media items.

A tiny media that has more stoarge capacity than college computer. This holds about 500 mp3 songs. That's enough for me and some kid's music for those boring waiting rooms. There is also plenty of space for fuzzy Blackberry photos. I have been buying SanDisk products for a long time. Their microSD cards hold up to their 20 year reputation.

The prices are so low, $6.99 for 2 gigabytes! If you need more storage, they are available high capacity (SDHC) 4 GB, 8 GB and 16 GB. I found a 16 GB for $39.99. I paid twice that price for a 4GB SD card for my camera a little more than a year ago.

1 gigabyte is 1024 megabytes or more than 1 billion bytes.

The tiny size amazes me but can be just as troublesome as good. It was difficult for my husband to maneuver the tiny cards into the slot on his phone. It's a worthwhile tradeoff, though.
