Jodi is an Australian Mum and Writer, based in the suburbs of Brisbane. Five and a half years ago she made the best decision of her life - to birth her baby at home. Not only did she have a wonderful birth, she was plugged into an amazing community of like minded women who she learnt most of her wisdom from. She breastfeed for three years, loving just about every moment and still misses the quiet, the oxytocin rush and the closeness.

Jodi is a self proclaimed natural birth advocate and lactivist, past editor of the grassroots birth and parenting magazine Down to Birth, co-author of Reclaiming Sex After Childbirth: The Survival Guide and now divides her time between full time mothering (is there any other sort?), fiction and non fiction writing and a number of emerging publishing projects.
