The toddler years are a time during which your child’s nutritional needs slow a bit when compared to the first year of life. While it is important for your toddler to eat a healthy, balanced diet, this is the time in which it will be more difficult for you, as the parent to assure that happens. Toddlers are busy asserting their independence, which includes their decisions about what they’ll eat. Not to worry though, it is possible to meet your toddler’s nutritional needs during this busy, independent time.
